What do I learn?
Why is this is my best sample?
How can I improve?
During DT I have learned a lot of skills during cooking this quarter. I learned how to wash fishes, chicken, kwetiau and other spices. I also learn how to cook with meat, fish, chicken, and ect. I also use knifes to slice the garlic, onions, chilli and other spices. I also learned new techniques such as grill, frying, cooking, making soups, and "Ngulek". This skills have helped me for the sake of my future, I can apply this cooking so one day when I'm going out of country for school and I'm hungry, I can cook by myself and make a great food!
This sample is the best because it was my food from Kalimantan. It is called kwetiau sapi goreng, it tasted very good and Ibu Lisa made the face like it was "WOW" and I really love it. For me the food was the best, the kwetiau was so smooth, the beef was so tender and it tasted very good :D and I'm really proud of it.
For this quarter I really need a lot of improvements because such as frying the fish, it was not crispy. Making the sambal by using the method of "Ngulek" it tasted very bad. Then I failed to make the Ayam gulai to salty. For the Nasi Yasa it was great but the small fish was not to crispy and the egg was broken and to oily. Then for the Sop Konro it was great but I just need to make it taste even better. So overall, I really need to improve in tasting and don't repeat the same mistake twice.
