Function: After/ Before Sport

Materials: 3 Ripe Bananas, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1/2 dried manggo, 1/2 roasted walnuts, 1/2 almond, 1/4 tsp salt. 1 cup of quaker oats and 1/2 cup of cereal.

Calories: 8 pieces = 1958 kkal
1 piece = 1958/8 = 224,75 kkal

Price: Around 20 thousand


STEPS

3. Blend the nuts, dried manggo, dried plum

4. Add Sugar and Salt

8. Add everything together

9. Mix it well

Place the mixture to the pan and bake it.

Changes: 
- Did not add the cinnamon, cause I forgot.
- Baked longer then it should be, should've bake for 30 - 40 min, but instead it took me 50 mins.

Improvements
- Add cinnamon
- Cook longer, still uncooked
- Manage time better

Reflection

For DT cooking this quarter, I had to make a food which gives a lot of energy, which I decided to create a bar. During the test, I created the bar quite well, it tasted very good. You can taste the richness of the flavours all mixed well, the sourness, sweetness and so on. But there was vital mistake that I have done, the Bar was not crunchy, which that made my grade lower. I received a 5/6 which I couldve done better. From this, I learn that I should make the bar crunchy next time.

This project can be related to Health and Social Education, the project was to create a healthy food which can be related into health education. Also the food can be used for social emergency events, such as hiking, sport, as the food is healthy it gives a lot of energy for emergency events.
