Humanities - World War 1
During humanities this quarter, I learnt about the general facts, tactics and weapons that were used in the WW1. We were told to make essays and presentation about it. In this lesson I showed risk - taker and reflective, because I took the risk to make a good essay and read the feedbacks and fix it to make a better one. I reflect that we should be grateful, that are no wars in Indonesia. In the future I should make a better essay and be more brave during presentation.

Report of the Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand
The report of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand was happening on 28 June 1914. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria is an important person to the country. He and his wife, Sophie was visiting Sarajevo. On the day he was visiting Sarajevo with his wife, they were shot dead by Gavrilo Princip. So during Franz and his wife is going the city hall, the assasins was supposed to kill them on their way to the city hall. By using bombs, but they failed to accomplished that.
So one of the assassins called Gavrilo Princip was hungry, so he went to restaurant to eat a sandwich. After an hour, the Archduke and his wife when to the hospital, using the same route as before. Where the bombing was happening, so they passed Gavrilo, and Gavrilo threw his sandwich and shot the Archduke and his wife.
Gavrilo Princip is one of a group of six Bosnian Serb assassins, that was coordinated by Danilo llic. The purpose of this assassination was to break off Austria – Hungary’s south slav provinces so they could combine into a Greater Serbia or should I call it Yugoslavia. The group of assassins are known as the Young Bosnian. This assassination was the trigger that started World War 1.
After the assassination, the Austria- Hungary was so angry, and decided to attack on Serbia. The Germans decided to help Austria on attacking, and the Germans warned the Russians to not get involved. But the Russians did, so the Germans said to the France to stay neutral. But the France did not become neutral, and decided to join the Serbians and Russians.
In conclusion, I hope you readers will be able to get more information about the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife and a little information about what started World War 1.
