During PE, we did 2 sports which is basket and softball. We were told to make an essay about our countries traditional sports. Indonesia's most popular sports these days are soccer and badminton. I need to improve my grammar and using my time wisely. I showed open minded because I researched what I should do and shared my thoughts.

HISTORY
Indonesia is famous for 2 sports these days. It is Badminton and Football. Badminton is when they hit the cock with a racket. But in one team, they can only have 2 people. If 1 people is playing, it is called SINGLE. If there are two people playing, it is called DOUBLE. Well soccer is when people kick the balls to the goals. There are about 11 people playing in the field, there a lot of positions too. Such as midfielder, striker, defender and keeper. Mid fielder is where the players could go offense and defense. Striker is where they can offense. Defender is when they defense. Keeper is where the player need to defend the goal to prevent the enemies to score a goal.
RULE of Badminton:
1. Make sure you watch the birdie carefully.
2. Try to make your opponent move around the court; don't just hit towards him.
3. Try to shoot to their backhands. Most players will have trouble returning a good shot.
4. When the person you're facing hits the shuttle straight at you, hit it to the side opposite with the hand that he is holding the racket. This is a common but useful technique.
5. An effective technique is sending your opponent to the back corner of the court after they return to do a drop shot. It takes practice as you have to have decent long and drop shots, but this is a killer technique if you done well. (But beware of more experienced players; they may just send you back after you have sent them back!)
6. Hit the shuttle in the highest position. Don't wait for the shuttle come close you.
7. If you are not sure where to place the shuttle try to hit it to the back line.
8. If you are playing doubles, serve short.
9. If you are playing singles serve far.
10. Always run back to the middle of the court after you hit the shuttle.
11 .Get more points so that you win the match.
RULE for Football:
1. Football, know as soccer in the United States, is played with an inflated ball on a rectangular grass field or artificial turf. The ball must be 27 to 28 inches in circumference and weigh between 14 to 16 ounces.
2. Note that match time varies by playing level--school, college and professional. For professionals, it is 90 minutes divided into two equal halves. It is the referee's prerogative to offer a break at the end of 15 minutes, if necessary.
3. Remember that each team changes position on the field after the first and third quarters.
4. There is one goal keeper on each team. His role is to defend the opposing team from making any goals. He is the only person who is allowed to touch the ball with his hands.
5. Observe that the referee first tosses a coin in the air. The team that wins the toss will kick-start the game from the line of scrimmage at the center of the field.
6. Know that the real playing starts when the toss-winning team keeps on passing the ball among its members. This aim is to push the ball into the opposing team's territory in order to score a goal. At this stage, players of the other team try to defend their goal and stop their opponents.
7. The different field positions include Left Back, Right Back, Center Back, Left Wing Back, Stopper, Right Wing Back, Defensive Center Midfield, Free Role, Left Forward and Right Forward.
8. The goalkeepers make every effort to prevent the other team from scoring a goal on them.
9. Consider the penalty corners that are crucial for both the teams. They are offered to the offense team when the defense team makes a foul, especially close to the goal-making area.
10. Assess the performance of both teams. The team that scores the maximum goals overall wins.
