Humanities

During Humanities this quarter we had a lot of assignments with papers. A lot of papers were given to be filled in and a lot of activity's were given also to do. We had reviews for the test.

Undestanding the Text

1.       The difference between urbanization and urban growth is that urbanization is the increasing proportion of country's population living within urban areas, which urban growth is the increase in the size and population in an area over time, that is shown in a number. So, urbanization is increase in proportion, whereas growth is the actual increase in number.

2.       The reason why rural urban migrations are social rural areas, it includes good roads, hospitals, schools, electricity.

3.       Counter urbanisations is a demo and social process where the people move from urban areas to rural areas, It will take a reaction the city. People will choose to leave city for entertainment.

4.       It changes the economic pattern that have affect population by making local people where it is getting fewer for example the farmers in african are not getting enough money. The economic pattern is a profit.

5.       People move often by taking advantage for employment, There are many parts of the worlf large numbers.

6.       The difference between gentrification and urban consolodation is that urban consolodation is a diverse of planning where it is existed to encouraging with in urbanised areas. Gentrification is referring to changes  where it is resulted to rent properly in low income and working class.

Activities

2.       The factor is incharge of the reasen of urbanization where it is pull factors and push factors. The pull factors draws them to a new place. Push factor in force to act to drive people by pull factor. In the figure that it is forced because of landlessness and rapid population growth.

3. The factors is in charge of urbanisation is mostly because everyone wants to live in developed and good country and better education. People wants to find more jobs.

4. After brainstorming our groups we came up to an idea that if there is rapid population growth the city that are having problems like over population which will lead to not enough space and hard to find jobs.

8.

a. Urban drift ended during 30 years ago.

b.  The thing that is happening to small towns in Australia is that the number of such small towns has actually grown from 340-450 and people living in clusters of less than a 100.

c. In this recent ten years, people have move to the coast.

d.  The small towns are growing are harvey bay, mandurah and many more,  the reason is because of overflow.

Reflection

In humanities I have a gain a lot of new things, such us migrations, pull and push factors. Why is the population in the world increasing rapidly, what are the reasons? and ect. I think this is my best sample, because this activity really shows what I'm learning in Humanities this quarter. Although I was not able to answer all of the questions. Next time I need to improve my answers with more information and finish the activity properly!

Aoi: In humanities we understand about population occurs in whole over the world. We explore the needs of many communities, such as immigrant. The needs of those communities while the population increase more food, shelter health and education. We should suggest ways to create solution and to solve issues, such as creating more place to work in order to improve their standard of living. And then we discuss the attitudes towards other society.
