Monday 18th November 2013
Today's class was a 2 period working process on the toy we have designed. My original plan for today to make squares well, it was actually 52 squares in total for 2 weeks. But in the end of the day I was just able to make 7 of them. I did follow my plan, but I was not using my time effectively cause I should've made more by now. I have not covered appropriate or refer to my design spec because I still have a long journey to finish. What changes I need to change is to create more squares next time and use the time wisely.

Today's class was a 2 period working process on the toy we have designed. My original plan for today to make squares well, it was actually 52 squares in total for 2 weeks. Today's class was only 1 period of working process, it is a little time. My plan for today is keep making the squares, and I did follow the plan perfectly. Referring to the design spec, it is not yet 50 percent of my process, I am still far from being done. What changes I need to make is to make more squares and fast. I should use the time wisely and keep focus on the goal, I just made 7 today and have 14 in total. I need to make 38 more.

25 November Monday
In today's class, it was a 2 period class and I created more of the boxes just like in my planning. I made 27 of them and still a little more to go, I am following my plan but I am a bit behind from schedule. I need to sand paper it and creating template.

Today, we had 2 periods of DT to work on our toy, I'm left behind in my planning progress. I'm still in the cutting wood process, where I should already be in foundation. So today I did all the 52 square cutting and afterwords I sandpaper it to make the edges smooth. I need to sandpaper all of them and go directly towards foundation.

Today we had only 1 period to work on our toy, in this whole period I was doing sandpaper to all my 52 squares, it was long and tiring. Then now I had to follow my plan at home to foundation the wood and paint it with acrylic.

Bills
For design technology this quarter, we had to make a toy made out of wood. Above you could see the process of my work during creating the toy. I felt okay when I received my grade for my evaluation of the toy that i simply recieve a 4 and the imrpovements i had to make was to be more creative. But for my other criteria i got passing scores and I failed one criteria cause i didnt copy the correct questions and the result was a mess.
This subject can surely be related to visual art and math where we could use art by creating an sculpture just like what we did in art class. This is just the same but we are involved with cutting wood and both need creative brains to make the product incredibly good. This also could be related with math since it involves calculations for the measurements.
From this project what developed was concept, skill and social, during this project i involved with concept during thinking the mindset, the concept of the toy just like the picture above. I should apply the concept of my topic into a toy. Also the skills that I developed during making the toy, was painting, time management, cutting the wood with saw and measuring to get the same sizes. Last but not least was socialising with the little kids during the process where they played our toy, it was just like baby sitting and improving our parenting skills.
