Technology (DT)
During DT this quarter, we were told to make a pencil case. This pencil case is way different, because we need to create it by stitching. It is very complicated because there are a lot of ways to do it. Which are cross stitch, back stitch, sew stitch and using the buttons. The process of make this pencil case, is first, make 3 boxes in the black cloth. Then use cross stitch on the first box, then second, put the back stitch on the second box. We were guide by our sub teacher, which is Ibu susan. Then stitch 8 buttons, and 2 things, that looks like the thing for a pants. then Pak Andre will help us to apply the zipper to the pencil case with a sewing machine.
Once everything is complete, we submit it. I showed communicators and risk taker, because it is my first time making a pencil case by stitching and i took the risk, and just do it. i also ask my friends and teacher when I'm stuck and they will tell me what to do and I just do it, they help me so I could make a good one.
This sample was the best, because I did very hard on this one and it took me a long time to do it. I did well when I use the sewing machine and I succeeded to make a good one. I could improve by less talking, more focus and fix my stitching skills. I showed thinkers because I should think which hole should I sew, what techniques I need, It was so hard, and I still got messed up.
